Boring? Never! Try reading Slow Burn by Kelleher, that is among the most exciting books ive ever read If you manage to read past the first sentance you will see they have a deep meaning. Kellehers books are among some of the greatest books ive ever read. And I have to do a book review about it when I hardly understand it. I have to read 'The Makers', and it's so hard to understand it.

This book is boring i could read past the first sentece now i have to do 2 essays on it and don t what it's about! I am reading where the whales sing, I like it, but i think it needs a revamp I read taronga, and i thought about it, and the more i thought about it, the more i relised i hated it. We had 2 read dis and we are in da top class 4 english! We read dis book 4 english and thought it was the most pathetic book we eva read! I thought that the green piper was the most boring book i have ever read However, it turned out to be pretty good read.

I just read the novel 'Taronga' for English at my school and at first I was really negatice about it, as I thought it would be a little childish and the story uninteresting. The book sounds good and i am reading taronga and it is about a guy who can talk to the animals. Kelleher has won many awards for his books, such as the Australian Children's Book Award.Victor Kelleher is a person who intrigues the reader with ironic surprises Many of the books he has written have been based on his childhood and his travels in Africa. After receiving a grant from the Australia Council Literature Board, Kelleher spent six months of 1996 at the Kessing Writers' Studio in Paris. He moved to Australia in 1976, with his South African wife, Alison, and was associate professor at the University of New England, in Armidale, New South Wales, before moving to Sydney to write full-time.

While in New Zealand, he began writing part-time, prompted by homesickness for Africa. He has taught in Africa, New Zealand and Australia. in English Literature from The University of South Africa. Kelleher received a Masters from St Andrew's University and a Ph.D. He spent the next twenty years travelling and studying in Africa, before moving to New Zealand. Kelleher was born in London and moved to Africa with his parents, at the age of fifteen. Victor Kelleher (born 1939) is an Australian author.
